Crime prevention professionals acknowledge that the science of CPTED has never been more relevant or important. Recognizing this the Washington State Crime Prevention Association has partnered with the Tacoma Police Department and developed a 3 day CPTED certification class for law enforcement, private security, safety and risk management professionals.

In addition to learning the key principles of CPTED attendees will have the opportunity to apply CPTED practices during designated “field trips”.
